Ella, 10, has planned her trip to East Greenland with her daddy. However, the global pandemic forces her home and so, rummaging through films, photographs and diaries, she traces her family's travels over the past twenty years to the small village of Isortoq. She discovers a world very far from her normality, where to survive people hunt bears, seals and whales, and where life depends on the death of animals that in our imagination and in our culture have become symbols to be protected.

Born in San Secondo Parmense in 1968, he combines his long experience in the field of sport and exploration with his profession as a photographer and filmmaker. His latest works include the book “Dal Garda alla Marmolada, trekking e pensieri sul fronte della Prima Guerra Mondiale” (2017), the photography exhibition “Zhdat’” (2017) and the short film CARANO NON È PAMPLONA (2018).
