The film-diary of a period lived in Mexico and a portrait of Popocatepetl, an active volcano. During the conquest, the Mexican revolution, the EZLN uprising and today the feminist outburst, the volcano replicated the social turmoil with its eruptions. Can a mountain recall? The smoke that emerges from the crater suggests a rebellious and suffocated heart, and in the line it draws on the horizon I see a scar.

Delfina Carlota Vazquez
Photographer, working primarily on film. She participates in fanzine and art fairs with her work. Advanced student of the Degree in Audiovisual Arts at UNA. She curated the photography of TERRITORIO, a dance video documentary, second prize at VIDEODANZABA 2017. He works as a teacher and participates in the collective projects Furia Fílmica Club and Asolar.
