A Georgian film director appears at a remote, gigantic dam which is only one part of a hydro power station that has been divided by a borderline after the conflict between Georgia and its separatist province Abkhazia. Waiting for a permit to see the other half, she becomes close to the people whose lives have been destroyed by the political turmoil of the past, and listens to the secret stories revealing the true life around the border.

After a MA program of Multimedia Journalism and Media Management at Georgian Institute of Public affairs, she is actively involved in the film industry contributing short films and video stories. WATER HAS NO BORDER is her first full-length documentary film.
