Pierre, a famous explorer and writer, often travels around the world looking for adventure. One evening while drunk he climbs up the façade of a hotel and has a terrible fall from one of the upper floors. The accident leaves him in a deep coma. When he reawakens, barely able to stand and against everyone’s advice, he decides to cross France on foot using minor and unfrequented footpaths. A unique and timeless journey, during which the actor Jean Dujardin follows the trail of writer Sylvain Tesson, in the midst of unspoilt landscapes.
