The film recounts the fascinating journey of non-native trees arriving in the alpine space and spreading here over the course of the centuries. The journey takes us to Italy, Slovenia, Austria, Germany and France, revealing the delicacy of the balance between man and nature and showing how the sharing of good practice, training and the involvement of the local population are crucial in pursuing responsible management of these trees.
