Samir hardly knows his father. Hoping to become closer with him, he decides to accompany a hunter on an expedition in the mountains. Director Juliette Riccaboni decides to film the complexity of a relationship rife with disagreement. The picturesque Valais scenery provides the backdrop for this difficult reunion, shot through with humor and tenderness.

Juliette Riccaboni
Born in 1990. Joint Swiss and Italian citizenship. She studied Film at Geneva School of Art and Design and received her BA in 2014. BRISSOGNE ISLANDS is her first directorial work after her studies, which premiered at the Locarno Film Festival. Juliette also works as a director, writer, casting director and lighting technician.
