THE BUTTERFLY FOREST AT THE MUSE: A SOCIAL AND CONSERVATION PROJECT

Rearing butterflies has a positive ecological and economic impact on the local area and on people. The butterflies at the MUSE come above all from Costa Rica, where thanks to this practice deforestation has been limited and previously degraded areas are being reconverted into native forest.
