Plants have always fascinated writers, having a profound effect on their creative activities. With a few exceptions, it could be said that each of them has linked a part, often significant, of their work to a tree, whether real or imaginary. Indeed, according to some writers, it is only by observing the intelligence of the plant world and its extraordinary systemic qualities that human beings can understand that respect for nature is nothing more than respect for themselves. The principles behind the publishing activities of Aboca have led us to pick up on this concept with great conviction. The series “Il bosco degli scrittori” allows some of the most interesting and aware authors in our literary panorama to recount the world, theirs and ours, starting precisely from a tree. Our narrative series will soon celebrate its third birthday and we have by now reached a total of 14 books. For us, it has been an important wager and one that that is giving us considerable satisfaction. Each author has taken on the challenge in a completely different way, following their own intuition and with original solutions. Each novel in the “forest of writers” is both a surprise and a guarantee.
