A collective work that reconstruct an historical era in a “particular” area between Ossola and Vallese. The events took place starting from the end of the 18th century and came to an end in the early 1970s, recounted with the testimony of the last smugglers from Ossola, Italian customs officers, Swiss frontier guards and historians from the area, both Italian and Swiss. The documentary thus has historic roots but is also an opportunity to explore the upper Ossola and Vallese valleys.
