BEYOND starts with an account of Alex Bellini's 2017 expedition to the Vatnajokull glacier, an experience that had a profound effect on his life. In January 2025, Alex decided to return to the expedition sites, to look for answers and interpret the meaning of what happened eight years earlier with new eyes. Through reconstruction of this extreme undertaking, the documentary film aims to contribute to universal reflection on the meaning of exploration and the concept of limits.
