For decades, we knew little about mountaineering developments in Eastern Europe, due to the isolation of the Soviet bloc. In September 2024, a group of friends from the Dolomites set off for two legendary locations, Adrspach and Dolni Zleb, where Czech climbing has its roots. They were heading for the legendary sandstone towers of the Czech Republic, where for over a century climbing has developed its own tradition, as severe as it is fascinating!
