Ten days in the Brenta mountains, travelling by bike with a tent and sleeping bag, accompanied by twenty-two-month-old Lorenzo. The natural environment we use and inhabit has been donated to us, and we must give it back. This does not mean that we should make areas into museums or consider them as untouchable. The mountains are a “living space” and must be experienced and used as such. The Adamello Brenta Park and the long history of traditional alpine farming and forestry activities teach us this.
