June 2020, mountain refuges reopen despite endless uncertainty about the pandemic, which imposes new rules and requires adaptation of spaces. The enthusiasm of Roberta, Manager of the Roda di Vael refuge (Catinaccio), has the air of both a challenge and a mission. The mother of two children, she runs the refuge alone after her husband’s death. Through her everyday struggles and moments of loneliness, an intimate story unfolds, in which she wonders about her future and reflects on the collective drama.
