A gymnastic teacher plans a trip to the mountains with some of his pupils. The film shows the theoretical and practical preparatios and how the various obstacles are overcome. The so-called "town tourism" and overcrowding in the mountains caused by cable cars and similar installations are in contrast with reale thinking which offers a new experience, a sense of solidarity and reciprocal help.
