In Eskimo "nunatak" means "the mountain that rises from ice", that is the virigin peaks situated beyond the arctic circle, waiting to be conquered. The expedition used a 14 metre long boat with a steel hull to reach Greenland. After smooth voyage the "Eurocard" manages to cross the ice-pack and land at the "Greenland Alps". The boat is turned into the "base camp" for the parties that manage to achive numerous first climbs.
