The film shows the participation of alpine soldiers from the Cuneens division in a Nato exercise in Norway. After motnhs of winter training at a height of 2000 m, a thousand alpine soldiers reach the Sorreisa fiord right in the Arctic Circle where other Canadian, American, Dutch, German, Norwegian and English troops are quartered. The documentary is a chronicle of the expedition, lasting 25 days, with Nato conducted at a temperature between 15 and 49 degrees below zero.
