This documentary describes one of the most sensational performances that has ever been made by a solo alpinist: the winter climb of three of the biggest north faces in the Alps, the Grandes Jorasses, the Eiger and the Matterhorn, in only forty hours . This feat was achieved by the 26 year old French alpinist Christophe Profit, in March 1987.
