A game of hate and death existed in Sardinia with strict traditional rules that governed life. "Disamistade" is a match of ancient games photographed at a time when the rules are changing and the game no longer works. It is the fifties. Sebastiano Catte is a shpeherd's son but has been educated. His mother who has vaguely heard something about a new order of things, has encouraged to study. But her wish to change the game is only apparent: her son should no longer use thethreat of arms, but books, when he returns to show his "balntia" and subject others.
