Mount Baldo, on the east side of Lake Garda, has been famous for centuries for its rich flora, so that it is called "Hortus Italiae", the garden of Italy.This naturalistic documentary illustrates the various features of Mount Blado and highlights its morphological features and its rich flora. Some inforamation of an anthropic nature is included in the environmental desciption that touches the subject of the geological formation, fauna, flora and history. The film, made for educational purposes, is enhanced by two cartoons that explain the origin of Mount Baldo and the phenomenon of endemisms.
