The French-Russian space mission Aragatz took place from 26 November to 21 December in 1988. This documentary was filmed in France, in the Soviet Union and on board the space station Mir. It describes the various stages of preparation and the accomplishment of the enterprise. Among the members there was a French cosmonaut Jean Loup Chretien, who had spent two years in the famous city of the stars near Moscow, where he completed his training. He made several bio-medical and technological experiments and also spent six hours in outer space. All these experiments are useful for medical research and for perfecting the future Europlan programme for constructing the spaceship Hermes and the space station Columbus.
