GIORGIO BALDUCCI
Italy / 1990 / 13'
A samll expedition, composed of the extreme skier Toni Valeruz, Tita Weiss, Luigi Zulian and the Trento RAI cameraman Sandro Tamanini, reached the bottom of Siula Chico, a 6300 m high mountain in Peru. Valeruz and Weiss, who, in 1988, had already faced the nearby and majestic Sarapo, decide, despite the bad weather, to climb the south face of the Siula Chico, from the top of which Valeruz will then ski down the slopes at the limit of the extreme.
