A man and a woman ride through an alpine valley with the tune of Morricone's western music in the background. The man can not help showing off and he hints that te next morning he will climb a frozen wall. In the meantime they spend a warm evening by fire in a mountain hut. A bottle of Champagne, a the atmosphere of the environment, sweet words and the sentimental adventure is pleasantly consumed. During the night the man has a nightmare: while he is climbing the ice and the woman is ecitingly taking fotographs, a disquieting dark shape appears. He wakes up suddenly in the night and studies the illustrated manual of an ice climber. In the morning the woman gets her camera ready and he his pick and crampon. The temperature has risen and the ice is melting. The woman is a bit disappointed but the man is pleased although he doesn't show it.
