This is the story of Sylvia Kysilkova, a Checozlovakian woman alpinist who lives in northern Bohemia, thousands of km from the Alps. Despite this, she is preparing to climb the Eiger for the seventh time. She has received an invitation from "Climb the World", a project conducted by Edwin Drummond for the united Nations. The partecipants in this project, men and women, must climb the Eiger along different routes to meet at the top and, in this way, show their friendship and human solidariety. The purpose is to make people reflect on environmental problems. Apart from this project, the film tell us about Sylvia and her fight with the North wall of the Eiger.
