It is known as the valley of Hell, a deep and impassible crack on the east side of the Camonica valley. Despite the fact that only a few hundred metres separates this gorge from the densely populated plain of Boario Terme, it is virtually unexplored in wiew of its very special geomorphological structure. Using the modern skills of torrentism, a small expedition managed at last to conquer the difficulties of the gorge after many previous attempts had failed. In spectacular surroundings of rocks and water, the route winds among waterfalls over 30 metre high and variously coloured rocks.
