For the last six years skiers, monoski and telemark enthusiasts have competed in a crazy race with a 2220 m drop, held on Meije Mountain (4000 m) in Dauphiné. The winner is the person who starts from an altitude of 3560 m and manages to descend as fast as possible along whichever trail suits him best.
