Chestnuts used to be basic nutriment of the Italian speaking population in Bregaglia, Switzerland. The viewer through four seasons, from blossom time to picking the chestnuts, by Nino Coretti, a farmer from Soglia, one of the few remaining chestnuts growers. Val Bregaglia’s chestnuts are famous throughout Switzerland and law protects them.
