Faces, looks, clothes and colours, never seen before by the western viewer, offer a journey among the mountain people of Laos. The “gold en triangle” between China, Burma and Laos is the area of the largest production of opium. Opium is the “smoking dragon” and represents a fundamental rite their life and is far from the culture of death with the use of drugs practised by the western civilization.
