The film is a portrait of the mountaineer, Szabolcs Szendrö, who has been an active sportsman since his childhood. He has a serious handicap as he lost a leg below the knee in a railway accident and probably also due to medical negligence. The tragedy didn’t discourage him. Indeed he struggled with incredible willpower to stay in the world of sport and make his name in mountaineering. It’s not only a physical and sportive achievement but a conscious, specific view of life that demands respect and understanding.
