The highland of the Siusi Alps is the most picturesque in the Dolomites and is protected by a Park, which prohibits cars and prevents tourists from damaging the mountains. The documentary shows the autumn and spring time, the thaw, late snowfalls and the wild animals as they come out of hibernation and the wood. It also shows the high mountain flora, meadows of rhododendrons, gentians, crocuses and anemones among medicinal herbs, which, according to the local tradition, only witches gather. The latter are characters in most of the legends in the area and they influence, the weather, sex and faith.
