Wiestaw Ignatowski is a mountaineer who climbs in solo the Ganek pillar in the Tatra between the father who is preparing to climb the mountain and his tree year old son who takes his first steps along the road of life. The script is narrated entirely by the child, the unusual feature of this film, while we compare father and son walking, resting or eating. Their emotions when they are playing, painting or climbing seem the same and make us reflect on the basic elements of our lives.
