This documentary shows how the fiction film "Premier de Cordée" and "La grande Crevasse", inspired by Roger Frison-Roche's famous work, were shot. Seated comfortably in easy-chair, it is difficult to imagine all the preparations needed to make a film in the mountains. To satisfy this legitimate curiosity Benoit Amon followed the work of these two films in the Chamonix setting.
Born in Sion on June 15th 1954. He took an Arts degree at the University of Geneva in 1979. Since 1981 he has been working for TSR and collaborating as a journalist with “Telescope”.
