Lost in the heart of the high Yunnan mountains, in China, the village of Moozu is completely isolated from the rest of the world and its inhabitants are forced to live in complete autarky. The people of Moozu are cut off from the only road in the region by a deep canyon at the bottom of which flows the yang tse Kiang, a turbulent river of muddy water. But ( need sharpens wits) some inhabitants do not lose heart and invent a rudimentary but effective system to pass to the other side. Like circus tightrope walkers, the men, balancingon a steel cable, their hands gripping an iron cage with the passengers inside, fly into space without any form of security.
