This is one of a series of six episodes shot by the same director on the subject of alpine rescues. We have chosen te third episode, to represent the entire series, which best illustrates two high stadard preofessions: the rescuers and the filmmakers recording the acivity. Episode 3 highlights in particular, as the title shows, the 'team spirit'. Clarifying the role and importance of the helicompter pilots used in reconnaissance and rescues, the film relates this aspect with other indispensable links in the recue chain, the guides, assistants and doctors. This need for collaboration is highlighted by the film in practical cases, one of them particularly dramatic, which involves an alpinist with a broken leg, taking into account the weather conditions, the condition of the wall, the difficulty of manoeuvre and the urgency of the intervention. An accident that in itself is not serious, but could become a tragedy if all the team members - fighting agaist time - did not pull their weight in perfect harmony.
