The difficulty of shooting video or film scenes in climbs on rock walls or during arduous mountaineering ascents is well known.
Over the years the comparison of quality between the many resources available for television crews and the means at the disposal of mountaineers working on the great walls (which the crew cannot reach) is gradually being equalised, also thanks to modern digital equipment. There are, however, other disquisitions concerning innovations, proposals, ideas, editing and production means.
With three episodes developed on a climbing wall, on Cerro Torre in Patagonia and on Capitan in the Yosemite, this video proposes an immediate reflection and comparison of the diversities, difficulties and risks invariably presented every time one has to film a climb.
