The film tries to reconstruct Massimo’s life through many interviews and beautiful climbing images. He was a great mountaineer who was usually rather unwilling to talk about himself or reveal his thoughts. Instead of words he preferred his essential way of climbing a wall, with energy, seriousness and experience. At the age of 23 Massimo had such an ability to climb that he was included among the greatest climbers worldwide. This documentary film is a homage paid to him by relatives and friends and helps people to understand whom this man actually was. Massimo died in a mountain accident on 24th February 2005. Apart from the accounts in the film, there are many library images taken from old videos of his childhood and from the most recent video, together with many photographs.
