A train leaves from St Petersburg heading for Ulan Bator, in Mongolia. During the journey we encounter new views, sounds and images which are confused with the changing landscape. We slowly enter an unknown world. From Ulan Bator a bus leaves for the village of Kathgal, in the North-West of the country. On board there are local people, the true face of Mongolia. The film accompanies us in an evocative journey across the wild lands of the Tssaan populations, the mountain tribes who ride and herd reindeer.
