From the mountainous Dolomitic landscapes of the Val Rendena and Valle del Vanoi to the terraces of the upper Lake Garda area, with its Mediterranean characteristics, the film highlights certain food farming practices closely linked to care of the local area and its biodiversity. The images and voices of those who have chosen to produce quality food, in a sustainable way and on a small scale, interweave with those of a successful chef, who has chosen to focus on the simplicity and vicinity of these products.

Michele Trentini
Born in Rovereto in 1974, he carries out research activities using the methods of visual anthropology. He has directed, among others, CONTADINI DI MONTAGNA (2015), ALTA SCUOLA (2016), RITRATTI IN MALGA (2017).
Andrea Colbacchini
Since 2013 he has been working on documentaries dedicated to history and anthropology in mountain environments, territorial research trekking, travel, theatre video installations and mapping.
