InQuota: the best of Mountain Cinema, all year round

The streaming platform promoted by the Italian Alpine Club and the Trento Film Festival, to bring many mountaineering, adventure and nature films to the homes and devices of all enthusiasts, for the first time in one single subscription.

InQuota is the streaming platform for all cinema and mountain enthusiasts, the result of the joint work of the Trento Film Festival and the CAI (Italian Alpine Club), with its Centro di Cinematografia and Cineteca.
More than a decade after the explosion of online content, but with platforms that now replicate the offer of generalist TV, of which they initially represented the alternative, proposals such as InQuota are inspired by the most original and advanced trends of the audiovisual market, responding to the emergence of new ‘niches’, even though in terms of the number of fans and practitioners of mountain and outdoor activities they represent much more than a small slice of the audience.
Mauro Leveghi, President of the Trento Film Festival: ‘with InQuota we also want to offer our audience the possibility of continuing to enjoy unique films that cannot be found elsewhere from home, every day of the year’.
Nicoletta Favaron, Cinema Area Representative of the Club Alpino Italiano and Vice President of the Trento Film Festival: “InQuota is the concrete answer we give to an audience that we know is constantly growing, and that combines the pleasure of the cinema with the desire for private, on-demand viewing”.
The InQuota logo was designed by Spanish artist Javier Jaén, author of the Festival’s 2019 poster, while the platform adopted is the one developed by New Zealand-based streaming service provider Shift72 and French company Festivalscope, web partners of major international film festivals and markets, starting with the Venice Film Festival.
The cost of the annual subscription (limited to the Italian territory) is 50 euros: the more than 10,000 users already registered on the platform during the previous editions of the Festival received a discount code to subscribe at a cost of 40 euros, while CAI members will have an additional special offer at 30 euros.
