I ghiacciai rappresentano indicatori affidabili delle variazioni climatiche e ambientali di tipo globale che il nostro pianeta sta vivendo. Cento anni dopo la spedizione alpinistica e fotografica del Duca degli Abruzzi sul ghiacciaio del Baltoro, nel Karakorum, un team di scienziati e di fotografi ne ripercorrerà le stesse orme con lo scopo di compiere un’accurata analisi climatologica e di documentare, per la prima volta in maniera visiva, le trasformazioni glaciologiche e ambientali avvenute nel corso di un secolo.

Since 1995 he has been working as journalist and realized several reportages, self-produced as independent filmaker, for the programme “Prossimo Tuo” for the Italian public television Rai. He collaborated with national daily papers, weekly magazine and salaries.
He started working as a TV director of ads and documentaries for the pay-tv channel Studio Universal, in Italy.
Since 1998 he has been producing nature & wildlife documentaries for the Italian public television slots: “Geo & Geo”, aired on Rai Tre. He is currently working for Fox International Channels Group in Italy as an author of both TV formats and entertainment programs, and with National Geographic Channel Italy.
