The Marchand family lives next to the Alps and for generations has gone hunting, an activity now taking place on a sustainable basis, according to rigorously controlled rituals. Father, son and now the grandchildren, a young girl and boy for whom it is like a game, a form of initiation. Everything starts from an equilibrium with nature and the resulting harmony, also in terms of the family.

Samy Pollet-Villard
Samy Pollet-Villard is a French filmmaker born in Annecy in 1994. He directed his first documentary film THE GUARDIANS independently and in parallel with his studies in philosophy. He then joined the master's degree in "documentary writing" at the University of Aix-Marseille where he directed KINDRED BEAST.
