Antonio is a free-spirited shepherd with a talent for communicating with animals. When he comes down from the mountains his fellow townsmen reproach him: his dogs don’t wear collars. However, Antonio will never put collars on his dogs, suffering the bitter consequences. Regardless of the exacerbating conflict, Antonio never stops fighting to find his place in the world, finding the promise of freedom in nature, despite everything.

Director
Vanina Lappa
A French-Italian director and editor, she graduated in painting and video art from the NABA academy in Milan. In 2016, her first full-length film SOPRA IL FIUME won first prize at the Filmmaker Festival in Milan. She pursued her studies with a master’s degree in direction at INSAS di Brussels. NESSUN POSTO AL MONDO is her second documentary.
